2 Car Crash on Center Street

Thursday morning Vigilance Hose and Nazareth EMS & Police were dispatched for a 2-vehicle motor vehicle crash reported with injuries at the corner of Center & Green Streets. Rescue 5041 responded with 4 crew members with Chief Johnson (5051) taking command. Upon arrival, EMS assessed 3 patients who refused transport to the hospital. Due to damage to the passenger door and mobility issues with the passenger, Lieutenant VanBuskirk was asked to remove the damaged door with our Hurst hydraulic rescue tools. Once the passenger door was removed, the front seat passenger was able to self extricate themself. Fire crews assisted with debris and Hazmat cleanup, while Fire Police closed Center Street between Green St and Church St.
