This year due to complications of COVID 19 it was discussed, at great length, how we would coordinate the outreach to the children that attend Shafer Elementary School, Holy Family Elementary School, and the various Daycare programs throughout the Borough of Nazareth.

The final result is here in this video! We at the Vigilance Hose Company No. 1 are dedicated to not only responding to emergencies but also educating the public about preventing fires in our homes and also things we can do to make ourselves safer.

Our outreach program, year after year, usually includes visits to the Shafer Elementary School and the daycares (St. John's UCC, St. John's Lutheran, Love A Lot Nursery School, Forever Friends, The Montessori Daycare, and Holy Family Elementary School). The children really love it when we visit the schools, and some of the children come to the fire station. Sadly, this year that was not possible. Next year, hopefully we can start doing our in person outreach once again. Until then, enjoy the video presentation!
