For the last two weeks, members of the Vigilance Hose Co. #1, and Bushkill Township Fire department, have participated in a ropes and rigging class. The class teaches basic rope skills needed to operate at emergencies where the terrain can cause complicated situations. The 16 hour class is a basic level ropes course, the fire department intends to continue the ropes training in the future with more advanced ropes classes.
