On October 27 2016 at 2013 hours, station 50 was dispatched for a full response to assist Bushkill Township station 52 with a working dwelling fire. Upon arrival, the crews of 5021 and 5041 went to work assisting units from station 52,54,and 36 with fire suppression, then overhaul. 5011 stationed on a hydrant on Bushkill center road at Virginia Drive and filled tankers. Tatamy station 22 assisted station 50 by moving up to our station to cover calls in the borough. Stations 48,54,53 also provided Tender/tanker support due to lack of hydrants in the area. Station 52 first crew on scene got a great knock on the fire which allowed departments to keep most of the damage to the garage. First arriving police from Bushkill township were able to rescue the family dog from the rear of the structure prior to fire departments arrival.
Station 50 units cleared and returned to station @ midnight.
