At 13:05 hours, Station 50 was dispatched as part of a 2nd alarm assignment to the Borough of Stockertown for a working fire in a bedroom. Rescue 5041 responded with 6 personnel and provided a R.I.T. (Rapid Intervention Team) to the incident. 5041 was released from the scene at 13:40 hours.

The fire was contained to the bedroom, however there was extensive smoke and water damage.

Unfortunately, one cat was found deceased, and at the time of writing this, two are currently missing. However, one cat was successfully rescued.
