Last evening members were trained by ESI Equipment Inc representatives Ray Henry,Ken Sobeski and Steve Martin on proper use our new pneumatic Holmatro lifting bags. In some emergencies this system can be used for lifting extremely heavy objects in delicate situations. This system replaces our previous air bag system which was antiquated and sorely in need of replacement. We would like to thank the Borough of Nazareth council members for helping the Fire Dept. obtain a grant that provided a portion of the purchase price of this equipment. Without their constant support it would be extremely difficult for the Fire deptartment to obtain these needed items. These items will add to the compliment of equipment The Vigilance Hose Co. has to stand ready to deal with any emergency that may come in. Here are few pictures of the training.
