Nazareth Police Patrol Car Catches Fire |

On May 14th, the Vigilance Hose Firefighters were dispatched to a car fire behind the Borough police department. Chief Jerry Johnson, 5051 was first on scene and confirmed a working car fire. Chief Johnson deployed a fire extinguisher to knock down the fire. Engine 5012 responded with a crew of 5 firefighters. Upon arrival, 5012 crew deployed one hand line and cooled down the patrol vehicle and protected exposures. Station 50 crews were assisted by Upper Nazareth Station 54 (5412) and Nazareth Ambulance. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. |
