The air was cool, but the sun shined bright for the Vigilance Hose Easter Egg Hunt after having to be rescheduled due to rain a week ago. After having to cancel last year's egg hunt due to the rise of COVID-19, members of the Vigilance Hose were excited to hold the event, taking extra precautions to ensure a safe environment for everyone. Social distancing and mandatory mask wearing were the buzz words of the day.

After the guest of honor, the Easter Bunny, arrived on Engine 5012, the hunt for over 4,000 eggs was on for 4 separate age groups ranging from 2 years to 9 year old.

Once all the eggs were collected, youngsters picked up chocolate bunny prizes and could take personal photos with the Easter Bunny.

We thank all the members supporting the event as well as local businesses that donated to make this event successful.
