| Borough Police and Fire crews were called to the 200 block of Belvidere St. on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 for wires down across the roadway. Assistant Chief, Mark Morella arrived on scene as incident commander to find a large section of a tree had fallen, pulling down telecommunication lines to a residence. Crews closed the road until the wire could be safely removed.
If you see any wire laying on the ground please do not approach or touch. Any wire, even one that's not supposed to be live, can be live and cause serious injury or death. Call 911, and allow emergency crews to safely handle it. |
