326 South Main Street High occupancy fire

On Tuesday Nov 28 at 1153 hours, Station 50 and 54 were dispatched to a high occupancy dwelling fire. Shortly after dispatch Nazareth police and Palmer fire captain August (2754) were reporting a working fire with heavy fire in the second and third floors . Station 53 and 52 were dispatched for assistance. Upon the arrival of 5021 and 5412, water supply was established and additional departments were dispatched due to a large fire load in the involved apartment. At, approximately 2pm the fire was declared out. a total of 9 people were displaced from 6 apartments. The Red Cross assisted displaced tenants. No injuries to any tenants or firefighters. Than you to all the fire departments who assisted, your help is greatly appreciated. It was determined that the fire was caused by unattended cooking.
